Over the last six years, students from the Hubert H. Humphrey
Institute of Public Policy, the College of Education and Human
Development at the University of Minnesota have interned at
ACET, as have students from Arizona State University, the
University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and Baylor University
(Waco, TX). In addition, some interns chose to receive up to
five graduate-level credits for their internship.
Please
note that the application process is competitive and the
internship is non-paid. We will consider up to two interns each
semester. In order for us to determine your need and fit for
this program, we would like all interested applicants to
complete our
online application.
After you complete the online application we will contact you
for further information. Typically we request that you forward
your resume and a writing sample for our review.
International Students: Please note that you must have
Optional Practical Training (OPT) and an Employment
Authorization Document (EAD) from the U.S. Department of
Homeland Security's Citizenship and Immigration Services in
order to be considered for an internship at ACET.
If you
have questions about the application process or ACET's
internship program, please contact Dr. Kirsten Rewey, Internship
Supervisor, at 952-922-1811.
Thank
you for your interest in the ACET internship! |
