Agency Description: The St. Paul Companies has provided insurance services and products in the U.S. since 1853. St. Paul Companies merged with Travelers Property Casualty Corporation in 2003/2004.

Project Description: The Inter-Race Institute was awarded a contract by the St. Paul Companies in 1999 to evaluate the Managing Diversity Initiative to improve retention of employees.

ACET services: ACET served as a subcontractor to Inter-Race for the evaluation and conducted telephone interviews with several former employees of the St. Paul Companies. Survey items were grouped in three areas: work environment, communication, and personal work style.
