Agency Description: Ascension School has as its mission the teaching of the Christian faith in the Roman Catholic tradition, fostering academic excellence in all areas of study, encouraging discipline based on respect and responsibility, and developing a sense of service and social justice within our multi-cultural community. Currently, enrollment at Ascension is 300 K-8 students.

ACET services: ACET was contracted to analyze student achievement and demographic data for approximately 110 students who received scholarships while enrolled at two Minneapolis independent K-8 schools (Ascension School in North Minneapolis and Risen Christ Catholic School in South Minneapolis). Specifically, ACET was asked to: (1) Create a template to review available student demographic and MAT8 reading, math, and language scores for all years available for each child; (2) Assist the school in compiling demographic and test data; (3) Design an Excel spreadsheet to record identified data available for up to 110 students; (4) Analyze data entered in Excel; and (5) Prepare an executive summary outlining key findings to describe scholarship recipients.
