Agency
Description:
Casa de Esperanza was founded in 1982 to “mobilize
Latinas and Latino communities to end domestic
violence.” Casa de Esperanza works in ways that make
sense to Latinas. Its experience has shown that when
Latinas are supported, they will work in their best
interest; so the agency seeks to inject information,
knowledge, and access into their lives. Casa de
Esperanza provides tools so that they may act on behalf
of themselves and their families.
ACET
services:
ACET provided the planning, developmental support, and
implementation of the agency’s efforts to create an
infrastructure for a research and evaluation department.
Marcel Montañez, Ph.D., compiled an extensive report of
findings.
