Agency Description: HOPE (Hmong Open Partnerships in Education) Community Academy opened for grades K-3 in the fall of 2000 and has added grade levels annually until it reached its current configuration of serving grades pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. The organization's mission to provide students in grades K-12 with a rigorous academic foundation, focusing on the mastery of fundamental and higher-order thinking skills that prepare them for life-long learning, while instilling in them the finest Hmong and American values.

ACET services: ACET provided evaluation services and prepared an accountability plan for HOPE Academy in 2005, and also prepared their Annual Report on Curriculum, Instruction, and Achievement” in the 2009-2010 school year, which provides the staff and families of HOPE Academy, the Minnesota Department of Education, the University of Saint Thomas, and the general public with information on the progress of HOPE Academy and its students.
