Agency Description: Park Nicollet Health Care facilities is an integrated care system which provides patients with a wide range of health care services, including medical diagnosis and treatment, health education, self-care products, services and more. Project Description: In 2002, Park Nicollet contracted with the Inter-Race Institute at Augsburg College to review the diversity climate of five Park Nicollet Health Care facilities.

ACET services: ACET served as a subcontractor to the Inter-Race Institute in the creation, implementation, and analysis of the “Diversity Climate Survey.” Surveys were collected from 1055 patients at five Park Nicollet Health Care facilities in the metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul: Brookdale, Burnsville, Minneapolis, Saint Louis Park, and Shakopee. Items on the survey focused on inclusiveness, staff diversity, care facility environment, and quality of care facilities. Respondents were also asked to provide feedback on how Park Nicollet could improve their diversity climate.
