Agency Description: Minnesota Association of Charter Schools (MACS) is a membership association that promotes innovation, quality, choice and accountability in public education by promoting the charter schools in Minnesota.

ACET services: MACS contracted with ACET to evaluate its the impact on its charter school members in Minnesota. ACET conducted telephone interviews to learn about MACS’ member participation in the organization (i.e. what kind of activities did they participate in, why did they become involved, how have they benefited). The evaluation results were used to improve MACS’ services.
