  Continuation Care - Continuation for Offenders & Dually Diagnosed

Agency Description: Recovery Resource Center (RRC), a division of RESOURCE, a multicultural and multiracial non-profit, community-based chemical health treatment program. RRC provides comprehensive primary and aftercare services to their clients including: individual case management and counseling, health education, employment services, parent education, and child care coordination and assistance.

 

Project Description: RRC received a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health Services in July, 2006 to provide care and treatment for those clients who were ex-offenders and those with dual diagnoses (substance use/abuse and mental health issues).

 

ACET services: From 2006-2008, RRC contracted with ACET to evaluate the Continuing Care-Continuation for Offenders and Dually-Diagnosed Program. The program provided care and treatment for those clients who were ex-offenders and those with dual diagnoses (substance use/abuse and mental health issues).  The evaluation included examining responses to multiple administrations of the data collection instrument, focus group questions, and analysis of a client satisfaction survey.
