Building Resilient Families is a behavioral health program for African American and multiracial parenting and pregnant women. It is one of the first in the state of Minnesota where women receive trauma-informed, culturally specific services while providing housing with their children aged 0 through 17. Using a holistic approach to treatment, the goals of the BRF program are to improve the mental, physical, and chemical health of women and their children and to improve overall family functioning and quality of life.

The Building Resilient Families program was funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), a division of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
In addition to BRF, ACET provides evaluation services to RESOURCE for many programs and services. Such programs include gender-specific, recidivism, culturally-specific, and dual-diagnosis programs and services.
