ACET Highlights: Max Davis, B.A.
Max Davis is a Data Coordinator for ACET, Inc. He has been with ACET since August 2021. Max is the Project Lead on the Great Plains Tribal Leaders’ Health Board Healthy Start Program. He works closely with his team to provide technical assistance and evaluation support to the Great Plains Healthy Start Program.
Great Plains Healthy Start is a community-based program utilizing Community Health Workers to deliver culturally tailored home visiting services to pregnant and parenting women of childbearing age, their partners, and children from birth to 18 months. The purpose of the Healthy Start program is to improve health outcomes before, during, and after pregnancy, and reduce racial/ethnic differences in rates of infant death and adverse perinatal outcomes. Max states, “This is a collaborative effort between ACET, Inc. and the Great Plains Tribal Leaders’ Health Board to track performance measures according to national standards.” This project is funded by the United States Department of Health & Human Services Agency, Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Maternal & Child Health Bureau.
Max draws on the expertise of team members in the Evaluation and Research Department to lead this project. “Together, we are turning quantitative and qualitative data into stories that accurately reflect the important work of the Healthy Start program staff.” Max enjoys the opportunity to work directly with the client “to build internal capacities for ongoing evaluation. This is a multi-year project that provides me with an exciting role evaluating and participating in the growth of a long-term program with several tribal communities.”
Thanks to Max and his team for supporting the Great Plains Healthy Start program to meet reporting requirements and continue their important work!
