ACET, Inc., is pleased to introduce Bree Zimmerman who joined ACET this summer as an Assistant to the Administrative Team! Bree has her associate degree in liberal arts with an emphasis on human services and brings extensive experience in disability and accessibility support programs to her work at ACET.
Since starting at ACET, Bree has greatly enjoyed the variety of her job. She finds herself working on multiple projects, facilitating meetings, planning conferences, and assisting on the internal operations at ACET. While she is new to evaluation, she says she appreciates “working with the team and watching ACET grow.” Knowing that ACET clients are getting their needs met brings satisfaction to her job.
Bree has a thirst for knowledge and never stops learning. “I stay connected to Minneapolis organizations, and I like to stay involved in the community,” she says. Bree has also dedicated many volunteer hours to youth programs, including after-school art programs and summer camps.
Bree has lived in Minnesota since she was young. While she sticks to the indoors during the winter, she enjoys spending time outside, going to the lakes, and exploring new places when the weather is warm. She also adores her family and friends and many weekends are spent cooking and sharing meals followed by catching up on a good book to read.
