ACET, Inc., is excited to welcome Ron Bower, who started with ACET last October as the Communications & Marketing Assistant. He specializes in social media and digital marketing and enjoys finding unique ways to share messages on various social media platforms. “I am excited to expand and build the brand of ACET, and our clients, through the ever-changing social media landscape”.
Ron has a Master of Science in Marketing and Communications, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has a background in tourism and non-profit marketing. Ron has promoted destinations in Ohio, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. “I have enjoyed promoting all the destinations I’ve worked for, but the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina will always hold the title of the most beautiful.” In addition, he has provided his marketing expertise by volunteering at several non-profit organizations that are important to him, including LGBTQ+ equality, fighting homelessness and hunger, and theater arts.
Ron and his husband, Tim, recently relocated to the Twin Cities with their cat, Kluber. “We have been exploring the cities since we arrived here last fall. I am especially excited to discover all the theaters in town.” In fact, Ron may be found on stage acting in a local theatrical production. “Acting allows me to be someone different from who I am. I get to portray serious, dramatic, often heroic characters, as well as wacky, melodramatic villainous roles.” He also enjoys attending baseball games, reading mysteries, and collecting vinyl records and comic books.
